This 1969 picture of our patient was placed on "Our Heroes" bulletin board today. Willie was a Marine assigned to search and rescue. His duties included jumping out of helicopters to rescue pilots whose planes were shot down in the Pacific Ocean. Dr. Wood's wife Kris and The Susan B. Anthony Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution have adopted the US Marines of 2/4 Echo Co Unit 40285. They are currently serving in Afghanistan. With the cold weather approaching we would like to help them stay warm and toasty by sending hand warmers, wool socks and hot chocolate packets. If interested, in donating, items can be dropped off at the dental office from now until November 30. Cards and letters of appreciation would also be nice.
